據北京市交通委員會官方微博消息，8月2日起，蘋果手機開通北京市政交通一卡通將不再收取開卡相關費用，北京市將全面實現手機免費開通北京市政交通一卡通服務。自此，北京市公共交通NFC移動支付全面進入“零門檻”應用階段。

Starting this Friday, travelers who want to use the Beijing municipal transportation cards on their smart phones will no longer need to pay the activation fee.

從本週五起，智能手機開通北京市政交通一卡通將不再收取開卡相關費用。

【講解】

activation fee指開卡費。
iPhone 6或更新機型（newer models），及Apple Watch Series 1 或更新機型用戶均可在線免費（free of charge）開通北京市政交通一卡通（Beijing municipal transportation cards）。
用戶（users）可通過北京市政交通一卡通App或蘋果手機錢包（Apple Wallet）App進行操作。
北京市計劃藉助近場通訊（Near Field Communication，簡稱NFC）和二維碼掃描（QR code scanning）新型技術，建設全覆蓋智能公共交通支付系統（all-around intelligent public transportation payment system）。
安卓用戶（Andriod users）的開卡費用已於7月初取消（cancel）。
