Because Chuck is MIA since his father's funeral, his Uncle Jack arrives on the Upper East Side to find and help him. Trying to forget her last conversation with Chuck, Blair focuses on being accepted into the most prestigious ladies club in the city, Colony Club. Jenny returns to Constance Billard and immediately takes on Penelope and her posse of mean girls, but no one is going down without a valiant Gossip Girl-worthy fight.

The Colony Club was the first social club established in New York City by, and for, was formed in 1903 by Florence Jaffray Harriman, wife of J. Borden Harriman. She modeled it on clubs for prominent men.

關於咖啡的一點知識：
double就是指double shot(打兩搶，含雙份espresso的分量)
各種杯型：short是小杯，tall是中杯，grande是大杯，venti是超大杯，在星巴克買咖啡不說small / medium / large，他們用的就是tall / grande / venti的叫法
cap: 就是cappuccino的簡稱，標準的cap裏espresso, 牛奶，奶泡各佔1/3. 而dry cap是奶泡多，牛奶少，咖啡濃過奶香，適合重口味的人；wet cap的奶泡少，牛奶多。wet cap的味道有點接近latte，都是牛奶的味道蓋過咖啡味道。(但是爲什麼她這裏說no foam，我也很confuse，希望知道的同學能告訴我)
splenda: 著名的甜蜜素品牌，它的特別之處在於它一旦被身體吸收，不會分解成碳水化合物，解決了人體需要糖份又因爲擔心糖會分解成過多碳水化合物而造成對身體的負擔的兩難境地。大家熟悉的diet coke裏選用的就是這種甜蜜素。另外在咖啡店裏我們常看到的幾個品牌的糖分別是：白色的普通蔗糖（通常是Domino牌的）、粉色的Sweet'N Low和藍色的Equal's.

Jack: In Bangkok. he was staying at our hotel there. i mean, you hear the term "den of iniquity", but until you really see it...
den of iniquity: A place of immoral behavior, usually of a sexual type. The origin of the term can be traced back to the New Testament of the Bible. In both Gospel of Mark and Matthew, Jesus condemns those who have been using the sacred temple as a marketplace, proclaiming that they have "made it a den of thieves." To this day, writers use the word "den" to mean a place where iniquitous activities are carried out.

Dan: Hey, Dad. Um, you know, Serena was... she 're busted.
bust: 做壞事被逮到了。這裏是Dan跟Serena在家裏make out(親熱)，被Rufus撞見了，所以Dan就說we're busted.

open invitation: 沒有正式的邀請函，客人可以自己決定到達的時間，也不限制客人的身份。如果有人對你說Please drop by again. You have our open invitation. 意思是下次歡迎你隨時 造訪，不必預約。另外有個open bar，通常指那些婚禮、宴會上的吧檯服務，酒水是免費的。用在酒吧裏，open bar表示買一張門票就可以無限暢飲的意思。

ALLUSIONS
Episode Title: In the Real of the Basses
Refers to a Japanesse movie from 1976, In the Real of the Senses. This movie is about the relationship between a Hotel owner and a maid. It is a fictional and sexually explicit treatment of a true story which occurred in 1930s Japan.
THE STYLE
Spring semester's in full swing, and Serena van der Woodsen continues to freshen up her school uniform with key accessories. This time around, Serena pairs a leather jacket from Mackage with a gray henley on top of her French Toast pleated skirt.
While Serena accessorizes her school uniform with a cool leather jacket, Blair takes her look to another level with her Victorian-inspired ruffled blouse. On bottom she wears a simple navy skirt, and adds pops of color with her green tights and red headband.
Blair Waldorf looks prepped and polished as she crosses her arms and chats with Dorota. She's layered in lots of labels including a suit from Diane von Furstenberg and a red leather tote from Dior.
