groceries: 食品雜貨。
as crooked as a dog’s hind leg: 像狗的後腿一樣彎。形容人不誠實，幹一些不合法的勾當。crooked，彎曲的。hind，後面的，後部的。
two-faced: 圓滑虛僞的。
liar: 說謊者。

B: It’s against the law to deceive like this.
A: Well, that company has a record of being run by a bunch of shifty characters.
B: What a bunch of cheats! Those dirty crooks should be shut down!
A: 這則廣告是蒙人的，不可信。
B: 這樣欺騙人是違法的。

fishy: 可疑的，靠不住的。
ad: 廣告。advertisement的口語形式。
against the law: 違反法律。
shifty: 慣耍花招的，詭詐的。
cheat: 騙子;通過非法的、不正當的手段來贏取某事的人。
crook: 騙子，壞蛋。通常是指一個與其他人有商業往來的不誠實的人，他們說謊、欺騙並且自私。
