B: What’s the diff? A new club has opened up the road. It’s cheaper and has much better sporting facilities.

【語言點精講】
membership: 會員資格。
What’s the diff? : 這是個反問句，不需要回答。意思是儘管有不同的選擇，但是這些選擇彼此之間沒有什麼區別。diff是difference的口語表達。
facility: 設施。
don’t give a hoot: 這是個俚語表達，相當於 “I don’t care.” hoot指的是貓頭鷹的叫。
