Tip:
Why not在口語用經常使用，用法很多，現歸納如下:
(1)表示勸誘、建議或命令(其後接動詞原形)，意爲……怎麼樣?爲什麼不……呢?"如Why not ask someone else? (問問別人怎麼樣?)
(2)表示同意或贊成，意爲 :好的;可以呀;爲什麼不可以呢?如:
A: May I go with you?
A:我可以和你一起去嗎?
B: Why not?
B:可以呀。
(3)用來詢問原因(有時表示一種不可理解的心情)，意爲:爲什麼?爲什麼不……呢?如:
A: He isn't going to see her off at the station.
