雅思寫作常用的同義替換詞彙積累
在英語學習中，同義替換一直是個重點。在雅思考試中，不管是閱讀還是寫作，老師都反反覆覆強調詞彙變換的重要性。下面和滬江小編一起來看看雅思寫作常用的同義替換詞彙積累吧。
一、我們比較常用的“人們”
“人們”是考生寫作過程中使用到的很普遍的一個詞。但是除了“people”“person”，還有哪些英語單詞也表示同一意思呢?
people：individuals, the public, citizens, one, figure
例1：政府應該考慮到人們的利益，否則人們就有權利反對政府。
The government is supposed to consider the interests of the public, if not, citizens have the right to be against the authority.
例2：我們需要學校把學生培養爲好人。
We need our schools to teach students to be good citizens.
二、常用的“認爲”
雅思寫作過程中，在表達他人觀點，作者觀點以及結尾重申觀點時，考生都會用到“認爲”這個詞，然而我們不能一整篇文章都用“think”啦，不然考官一定認爲這個學生平時不善於積累。
think：hold, maintain, contend, deem, believe, argue
例1：批評者堅稱這些改革會導致教育標準下降。
Critics maintain that these reforms will lead to a decline in educational standards.
例2：該黨把教育視爲政府面臨的比較重要的問題。
The party believes that education is the most important issue facing the government.
三、“社會”
可能很多同學會認爲“社會”類似於一個專有名詞，不太具有可替換性，其實不然。但是這些詞確實有一些細微差別，society所用的範圍較廣泛;community多用於指代“國際社會”;而“public”多指“公共場合”。
society：the real world, the community, the public
例1：這反映出社會上普遍流行的態度和價值觀。
This reflects attitudes and values prevailing in society.
例2：總統呼籲國際社會向水災災區提供援助。
The President appealed to the international community for aid for the flood victims.
四、“著名的”
寫作時我們用得較多的短語還有“因......而著名”，那麼可以表達“著名的，出名的”以及“名人”的詞彙有哪些呢?
famous：noted, well-known, eminent, distinguished, celebrated
famous person：celebrity, luminary, legendary figure
例1：他不但是一位美術家，而且還是一位著名的作家。
Not only was he an artist, but also he was a famous writer.
例2：當我們在討論那些名人時，我們都想知道他們是如何取得成功的。
When we talk about those celebrities, we all like to know how they succeed.
五、“相信，信任”
“相信，信任”除了believe也可以用短語來表達，同學們注意積累。
believe: have belief in, have faith/trust in
例1：即使我們場上處境困難，我們也充分相信自己改變結果的能力。
Even though we are in a difficult position, we have belief in our ability to change the result.
例2：你必須要相信一些東西——你的勇氣，命運，生活，因果報應，等等。(史蒂夫·喬布斯)
You have to trust in something——you gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
