釋義
表示像...一樣，(強調數量)多達，只有。通常中間只能用形容詞或副詞的原級，不能用比較級或最高級。若第二個as之後使用獨立的人稱代詞，一般用主格(較正式)或賓格(非正式)均可。
用法
1.若涉及數量或程度，可用“as much+不可數名詞+as”和“as many+可數名詞複數+as”。如：
He doesn’t pay as much tax as we do / as us. 他沒我們交的稅款多。
There are not as many restaurants as there were. 現在餐館沒有過去多了。
2.“as+形容詞或副詞原級+as...”意爲“和...一樣”，表示同級的比較，第一個as爲副詞，第二個as爲連詞。
(1)結構用於表示不同人或物同一性質的比較，意爲...和...一樣
The tree is as tall as the building.這棵樹和那棟樓一樣高。
(2)結構用於表示同一個人或物不同性質的比較，意爲既...又...
This swimming pool is as wide as it is long.
這個游泳池寬度和長度相等。
(3)結構用於表示兩個人或物不同性質的比較，表示程度相同或相當，意爲...而...，在否定句結構是so/...
He cannot run so/as fast as you.他沒你跑得快。
He was as handsome as his wife was beautiful.
他長得很英俊，他的妻子也長得非常漂亮。

(1) possible/sb can儘可能的……
Please answer my question as soon as possible.
請儘快回答我的問題。
The detective is searching the man as carefully as he can.

She looks as pretty as before.
她看起來和以前一樣漂亮
Though they failed，they still worked as hard as usual.

I will stay with you as long as there is a room free.

as soon as的用法
as soon as釋義
一……就……;一經;不久後，一會兒。既可以引導時間狀語從句，表過去，又可以表示將來。as soon as引導時間狀語從句當主句用一般過去時時，從句中用一般過去時或過去完成時。
as soon as 的用法一般是兩種情況：
1、指未發生的動作,規律是：主句一般將來時,從句用一般現在時代替一般將來時
如：I will tell him the news as soon as he comes back.
注：有時,爲了特意表達剛剛完成某事就如何如何,需要用現在完成時.
如：I will go with you as soon as I have washed my face.
2、指緊接着發生的兩個短動作,主從句都用一般過去時
如 He took out his English books as soon as he sat down
不過,我也見過從句和主句都用一般現在時的情況.
如：As soon as he finishes his classwork,he runs out of the class.他一做完課堂作業,就跑出了教室.
總之,記住那兩種基本的情況,不把時態用得太混亂了就行了(比如後面從句裏用了將來時,就絕對允許了).

as soon as的用法例句
1. As soon as he got inside, the dog shook himself.
他一進來，狗就開始搖頭擺尾。
2. They stopped you as soon as you deviated from the script.
一旦你偏離了劇本的內容，他們就會喊停。
3. As soon as the two chicks hatch, they leave the nest burrow.

as well as用法
作爲習語用作介詞時，as well as的涵義是“還有”、“不但…而且…”。值得注意的是，在A as well as B的結構裏，語意的重點在 A，不在 B。因此，“He can speak Spanish as well as English.”的譯文應該是：“他不但會說英語，而且會講西班牙語”，決不能譯作：“他不但會說西班牙語，而且會講英語”。如果這樣翻譯，就是本末倒置了。as well as和 not only… but also…同義，但前者的語意重點和後者的語意重點恰好顛倒。
如果 as well as用作連詞引出比較從句，其義爲“和…一樣好”。因此，“He speaks Spanish as well as English.”應譯作：“他說西班牙語像說英語一樣好”。語意的重點依舊在前部，不在後半部。
請注意 as well as以下的用法：
She called on you as well as I.
不但我來看你，她也拜訪了你。
She called on you as well as me.
她不但拜訪了我，也拜訪了你。
在下列句中，as well as表示“像…一樣”的涵義：
She as well as you is an English teacher.
她像你一樣也是英文教師。
這裏的謂語動詞用is，不用are，因爲句中的主語是she，不是she和you。
As well是副詞短語，其義爲“也”，相當於too，它一般放在句末，有時和連詞and或but搭配使用。例：
He is a worker，and a poet as well.
他是工人，但也是詩人。
China possesses enormous quantities of coal and is rich in other minerals as well.
中國擁有大量煤炭，其他的礦藏也很豐富。
can speak English，but he can speak Cantonese as well.
劉先生會說英語，但他也能講廣東話。
as well as 可連接並列的單詞或短語
如果as well as 前面是動詞不定式，那麼其後的動詞也是不定式，但to要省略應保持一致。
由as well as 連接的複合主語並不影響謂語動詞的數
as well as 連接的人稱代詞既可以是主格也可以是賓格，但句意不同。
as well as 用於肯定結構和否定結構中，其意義不同
強調連續性和反覆性，and連接相同的兩個詞，可以是動詞、名詞、形容詞或副詞
祈使句+and+簡單句”結構，表示條件關係，祈使句相當於if引導的條件從句。
在口語中，and可用在come, go run, hurry up, stay, stop等動詞後代替表示目的的動詞不定式，這些詞也可以接帶to的不定式
and位於句首時常用來承上啓下，有“那麼;於是;因此”之意
and用來連接數詞(=plus)時，表示“加”。
and all that = and so on = and so forth = and what not，意爲“諸如此類;等等”。
and yet表示“但是;然而”。
as well as連接兩個動詞時，有三種情況：
1)前後兩個動詞的時態要一致。即：若第一個動詞是一般現在時，第二個動詞也應是一般現在時;若第一個動詞是一般過去時，第二個動詞也應是一般過去時。例如：
He publishes(published)as well as prints(printed)his own books.他的書是自己印刷並出版的。
2)如果第一個動詞是複合時態，或由can，may， must等加動詞構成時，as well as後面可省去助動詞或情態動詞，此時，as well as意爲“既……又……”。例如：
We are repairing the roof as well as painting the walls.我們在粉刷牆壁，同時也在修理屋頂。
She can /could sing as well as dance.她既會跳舞也會唱歌。
3)如果第一個動詞是不定式，as well as後面的動詞也要用不定式，但要去掉to。例如：
You can't expect her to do the housework as well as look after the children.你不可能叫她既照管孩子又做家務。
5.注意as well as的另外兩層涵義：
1)as well as還有“除……之外”之意。例如：
As well as knowing some Russian，she speaks English very well.除了懂得一點俄語之外，她的英語講得很好。
2)as well as還可視爲結構，用於副詞的同等比較。可解作“和……一樣好”。例如：
He can speak English as well as you can.
