守護天使 Your Guardian Angle

Once upon a time there was a child ready tobe born. So one day he asked God, "They tell me you.are sending me toearth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small andhelpless?"

從前，有個孩子馬上就要降生了。於是有一天他問上帝：“聽說明天您就送我去人間了，但是，我這麼弱小和無助，我在那兒怎麼生活呢？”

God replied, "Among the many angels, Ichose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

上帝答道：“在衆多的天使中，我特別爲你挑了一位。她會在那裏守候你，無微不至地照顧你。”

But the child wasn't sure he really wantedto go. "But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing andsmile, that's enough for me to be happy."

小孩還是不確定自己是否真的想去：“但是在天堂，我除了唱唱笑笑外，什麼也不做，這就足以讓我感到幸福了。”

"Your angel will sing for you and willalso smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and behappy."

“你的天使每天會爲你唱歌，每天對你微笑。你會感受到她的愛，並且因此而幸福。”

"And how am I going to be able tounderstand when people talk to me," the child continued, "If I don'tknow the language that men talk?"

“如果我不懂人類的語言，他們跟我說話時，我怎麼聽得懂呢？”孩子繼續問道。

God patted him on the head and said,"Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will everhear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how tospeak."

上帝輕輕地拍了一下孩子的頭說：“你的天使會對你說最最美麗、最最動聽的話語，而這些都是你從未聽過的。她會不厭其煩地教你說話。”

"And what am I going to do when I wantto talk to you?"

“如果我想與你說話怎麼辦？”

But God had an answer for that questiontoo. "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how topray."

上帝胸有成竹地回答：“你的天使會將你的雙手合攏，教你如何祈禱。”

"I've heard that on earth there arebad men, who will protect me?"

“聽說下界有很多壞人，誰來保護我呢？”

"Your angel will defend you even if itmeans risking her life!"

“即使冒着生命危險，你的天使也會保護你的。”

"But I will always be sad because Iwill not see you anymore," the child continued warily.

“但是見不到你，我會難過的。”小孩小心翼翼說道。

God smiled on the young one. "Yourangel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way for you tocome back to me, even though I will always be next to you."

聽到這兒，上帝微笑着看着孩子。“儘管我會一直陪伴你左右，你的天使仍會向你提起我，教你重返天堂之路。”

At that moment there was much peace inHeaven, but voices from earth could already be heard. The child knew he had tostart on his journey very soon. He asked God one more question, softly,"Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

此時，天堂一片寧靜，凡間的聲音已可聽到，小孩明白自己得趕緊上路了。他又輕聲問了最後一個問題：“哦，上帝，假如我現在就出發，請你告訴我，我的天使叫什麼名字？”

God touched the child on the shoulder andanswered, "Your angel's name is not hard to remember. You will simply callher Mommy."

上帝把手放在小孩的肩上，答道：“你的天使的名字很容易記住，你就叫她－－媽媽。”

PS:媽媽是上帝爲我們每個人精心挑選的天使，我們的生命因爲有媽媽而安全、幸福。當我們長大成人時，天使媽媽變成了需要我們照顧的人。愛媽媽吧，她是我們的保護神。給女朋友買玫瑰時，記得給媽媽買一支康乃馨；給戀人打電話時，記得給媽媽報平安；生活幸福甜蜜時，也記得和媽媽分享。
