聖誕節是1月7號，不是12月25號
在伊斯蘭教國家中，埃及的世俗化程度和開放性都是挺高的，接受了很多其他宗教和文化的元素，比如聖誕節。
聖誕節在埃及是法定節日，但埃及的聖誕節並不是12月25號，而是1月7號，因爲這裏的教派用了不同的歷法——科普特歷 Coptic Calendar

每年聖誕節的節慶活動從元旦就已經開始了，相當熱鬧。
Owing to its secularism and equality, the Christian holidays of Easter and Christmas both are national holidays and festivals in Egypt just like the Islamic holidays. Coptic Christmas is celebrated on the 7th of January and is celebrated all around Egypt regardless of faith and religion. Celebrated extravagantly especially in Cairo and Coptic regions of Egypt, the celebrations start around 1 week before the actual Christmas day.
由於埃及的世俗主義和平等觀念，復活節和聖誕節這兩個基督教節日都是全國性的法定節日，和伊斯蘭節日一樣。整個埃及，無論是何種信仰和宗教的人，都會在每年1月7號開始慶祝科普特聖誕節。這個節日在開羅和科普勒地區尤爲熱鬧。
P.S. 不管是哪個宗教，遊客在進入宗教建築前需要脫掉鞋子。
