教學目標:

知識與技能目標

1. 能夠識別地圖,確定某場所的位置並正確書寫;

2. 能夠在購物場景中運用功能句進行交流,並補全購物對話內容;

3. 能夠運用prefer表達自己的看法,進行簡單交流;

過程與方法目標

1. 通過給同學挑選禮物,小組活動確定買禮物的地方,掌握識別地圖和確定場所位置的方法;

2. 通過模擬購物對話,完成購物對話等活動提高學生的口語交際能力和自主學習能力。

情感態度與價值觀

培養學生對家人,朋友關心關愛的好品質。

教學重點:

1. 正確描述並書寫某場所的位置;

2. 恰當使用prefer表達自己的看法和喜好。

【解決方法】以談論為同學買生日禮物話題,思考買禮物需要考慮的一些因素,轉移到討論在哪裏買,通過小組活動,確定三個禮品店的位置,並進行書寫。在針對去哪個禮品店買禮物,以及買什麼禮物的過程中,運用prefer表述自己的觀點,並在書寫練習中針對prefer進行鞏固練習。

教學難點:

1. 正確確定並書寫描述某場所位置的句子;

2. 正確補全購物對話內容。

【難點分析】描述某場所的位置以及購物的對話對學生來説都不是新知識,學生在三年級和四年級就能夠描述這兩部分內容,但關鍵在於本課時出現的是新的描述方式,這對於學生來説難度較大。

【解決方法】引導學生髮現自己四年級學生的next to等方位詞的表述已經不能夠準確的確定某場所的位置,從而通過教師的提問,學生找到描述某場所在某條街上的表述。針對對話部分,則是通過先讓學生進行情景對話的窗邊和練習,學生在已經有一定語言積累的基礎上,完成對話內容。

教學資源:

運用多媒體創設故事情境,視頻和音頻,聽力,小組交流

技術準備:

自制教學課件,教學光盤,不同層次學生的地圖,處理過的教材圖片,學生自我評價表每人一張

教學過程:

一、複習課文故事,考慮挑禮物因素(2分)

以思維導圖的形式引導學生複述課文故事內容。

在故事思維導圖基礎上,總結挑選禮物應考慮的諸多因素。

T: Choosing a gift for people, we need to think about …。

S: For whom, where, what, how much is the gift and how much we have, why we choose this gift.

【設計意圖】通過複習課文故事,引導學生回憶挑選禮物的過程和環節,並結合學生實際總結

挑選禮物考慮的諸多因素,為本課時給同學挑選禮物做鋪墊。

二、確立主題,識別地圖(18分)

1. 呈現11月份過生日的學生照片,確定為同學挑選禮物主題。

T: In our story, why do they choose a gift for Daniel?

S: They choose a gift for Daniel, because it’s Daniel’s birthday.

T: In November, our friends birthday is coming, do you want to choose a gift for them?

S: Yes.

【設計意圖】通過對課文故事主人公為Daniel挑選生日禮物的情景,與學生的生活實際相結合,

確定為11月份過生日的同學挑選禮物的主題,為引出本課時的地圖做鋪墊。

2. 考慮挑選禮物的諸多因素,學生説出where之後,教師進一步追問在哪裏可以我們朋友挑選禮物。

學生説出Shopping Mall之後,詢問學生買禮物在shopping mall,你需要了解什麼信息,展示

Shopping Mall圖片。並觀察shopping mall位置,板書展示which street is … on?句型。

T: We want to choose a gift for our friends, we need to think about …。

Ss: What is the gift? Hw much is the gift? Where we can buy the gift?

T: So, where we can buy?

S: In a shopping mall, in a store, …。

T: You say you want to buy the gift in a shopping mall, what will you think about the shopping mall?

S: What can I buy there? What’s the name of the shopping mall? Where is the shopping mall?

T: Do you know where is the shopping?

T: Do you want to know?

S: Yes.

T: What can you do?

S: …。

T: I have a map, here, now, the shopping mall is here.

【設計意圖】

①引導學生從思考買禮物因素,去哪裏買,怎麼確定位置,由學生説出答案。培養了學生的自主學習能力。

②利用shopping mall的位置做示範,為學生描述更多其他場所位置做鋪墊。

3. 描述shopping mall的位置之後,引導學生觀察地圖各街道,對park的地理位置進行描述。

T: Where is the shopping mall?

S: …。

T: There is first street, …。

S: Second street, …。

T: We see Redrock Avenue, so this big place is…?

S: Redrock Bay.

T: Who lives in Redrock Bay?

S: The BINGO Kids.

T: So we can see Ann’s house here. Which street does Ann live on?

S: She lives on the Third Street.

T: Yes, we will choose a gift in Redrock Bay.

【設計意圖】

①引導學生觀察地圖街道名字,為描述場所位置做鋪墊。

②確定為Redrocky Bay,之後回答Ann住在哪裏做鋪墊。

4. 分層練習於信息差活動結合,完善地圖,並完成回答問題。

詢問學生更喜歡在哪裏買,過渡到三個禮品店的介紹。

T: We can choose a gift here, or we choose a gift in a …。

T: Yes, which one do you prefer?

教師和學生共同看禮品店所賣的禮品,禮品店名字等信息。並詢問更喜歡哪個及原因。

T: You prefer shops, there are some shops here.

T: I prefer AJ Gifts shop, because I want to make a gift for …。 What about you ?

學生不知道禮品店位置,小組活動完善地圖。並完成前3個問題的書寫。

較高難度: 中等難度: 較低難度

【設計意圖】

①培養學生觀察地圖的能力的同時,運用Which street is … on?進行句型練習,為回答問題做鋪

墊。

②小組活動適合不同層次的學生,體現了分層教學的理念。

5. 針對最終去哪裏及買什麼禮物,給哪個同學買禮物進行表述。

三、購物場景,補全對話(15分鐘)

1. 運用shopping mall同一場景,展示處理後的對話圖片,引導學生情景對話。

T: We may go to this shopping to choose a gift, there is a girl Jane to there, too. She is buying a gift, can you guess who she buys for?

S: Her mother, her friends, …。

T: Let’s look, she buys for her mother. If you are Jane, what will you buy for your mother? Here are many clothes here. Now, I’m the woman, who wants to be Jane.

T: Now, you can buy something for your mother with your partners.

2. 學生完成對話。

3. 聽聽力,學生核對答案。

【設計意圖】

①學生首先創編購物對話,回憶購物用於,為書寫做準備。

②教師示範,學生創編對話,製造小麻煩,豐富學生的語言。

四、寫作練習,鞏固prefer(5分)

1. 呈現對話部分shopping mall中還有shorts和jeans,過渡到本部分寫作練習。

T: In this shopping mall ,there are also some shorts and jeans, which one do you prefer, wearing jeans or wearing shorts?

2. 學生針對所給選項進行討論。

1、能聽説讀寫下列單詞:gloves, belt, sunglasses, baseball cap等有 關服飾類的詞彙,以及prefer 和cost。

2、能夠用“I prefer these(this)。”來表達自己對物品的觀點。”

3、能用”How much do (these gloves)cost? ”詢問物品的價錢,並能用Those cost 23$.來進行回答。

過程與方法

1、通過大量口語交際讓學生在實際語言運用過程中感受功能句型的語境;

2、通過教師的支持,使學生具備一定的自主學習的能力和方法;以任務型教學模式為驅動,通過視聽、示範、置疑、創設語境等方法,通過師生互動、生生互動,對學生的聽、説、讀、寫等語言技能進行訓練和提高;

3、合理運用多媒體,創設直觀、高效的教學效果。

情感、態度

培養學生做事有計劃的意識。

1、掌握本課中出現的服飾方面的詞彙。

教學過程:

Ⅰ、Warming up

1. Play a guessing game. Show the letter s and have the children guess. (sweater shirt, socks, skirt, scarf„) Look at the letters and guess “What clothes? 幫助學生回憶學過的有關服裝類的詞彙, 適當的擴充相關詞彙。

2.T:Now let’s see all the clothes. Please read them one by one. (Show the words of clothes.) Read the words one by one. 幫助學生回憶學過的有關 服裝類的詞彙。

3.T: Last class, We have leant a new story with Unit 4 choosing a gift. Do you remember some information?

Let’s go over the story. Give some questions for the children.

a. Who are in the story? T: Ann, Ken and Sue want to buy a gift for Daniel.

b. Where are they now for choosing a gift? T: Explain the shopping mall.

c. What gifts do they Read the story and answer the questions.

Ss: They are Ann, Ken, Daniel and Sue

Ss: They are in a shopping mall.

回憶故事的大概情節,熟悉本節課要討論的話題,為後面的結構操練創設情景,做好鋪墊。 幫助學生複習上節課的故事情節,引出並學習本節課的教學重點詞彙及句式。choose?

Ⅱ、Talk together

1. Lead in.

T: Oh, children, Ann, Ken and Sue can buy a gift for Daniel’s birthday, when your mum or dad have a birthday, What should you do?

T:Today,let’s go to a shopping mall and choose a gift for them.

T: Daniel is a cool man, he prefers these sunglasses. Which sunglasses do you prefer? (Put the sentence on the Bb.)

T: I prefer those. Explain these and those.

T: Look at some T-shirts, I prefer this. Ask, Which sunglasses do you prefer?

Explain this and that.

S1:I should help my mum do chores at home.

S2: I want to buy a gift for my dad.

S3; „„ One by one answer, I prefer these. Ask and answer in pairs. One by one answer, I prefer this. Ask and answer in pairs.

設置情景,佈置人物。 操練Which sunglasses do you prefer?句型。 通過大量的同桌練習,幫助學生真正的學會表達自己的對物品的觀點。

模仿句型的正確發音。 處理詢問價格的另一種表達方法,幫助學生掌握多種表達方法, 從而為後面的創編對話練習做好鋪墊。

機械操練是學生掌握新語 言的必要環節。 為學生搭建用英語表達的舞台,給學生衝分展示自我 的機會。

Ⅲ、Listen to this

T: Look at these pictures, all of the children are choosing some things, let’s guess, what are they talking?

a. Listen to this. First time, just listen. Second time, listen and number. The third time, listen and check.

b. Check the answers and read the sentences. Talk about these pictures. Listen and match Check the answers. 在做聽力之前先讓學生討論一下圖片要表示的大概意義,可以培養學生在聽之前認真觀察圖片的聽音策略。

Ⅳ、Complete the dialog.

T: Now I have a dialog about going shopping.

a. Look at the picture and guess, what does Jane want to buy?

b. Now, please try to complete this dialog.

c. Ok, children, Let’s listen to the tape and check your answer.

Look and guess. Try to complete this dialog. Listen and check answers.

培養學生通過閲讀,推斷的能力,這也是閲讀的一種策略。在通過聽音來檢查所填答案的正確性,既訂正了答案,有培養了學生的聽力策略(抓關鍵詞)。

在此處理一段有關購物的對話,也為後面的學生創編對話提供了很好的範例。

V. Make a dialog.

T: Ok children, now, we can finish our task.

You can use these sentences in the dialog. For example,

A:can I help you?

B:I want to „ Make a dialog in pairs.

此環節讓學生自己創編一段完整的購物對話,是知識的綜合運用和輸出,培養學生説的能力,直接讓學生做有一定的困難,因此,在此我給學生提供了一些語言 支持。

Ⅺ、Make a summary

T: Today we have leant how to go shopping in English. Let’s read the important sentences. Read the structure sentences.

起到畫龍點睛的作用。突出本課重點。

Ⅶ、Homework

本次作業,我圍繞本課教學內容,設計了兩項作業,一項抄寫類作業,每個學生必做,目的是為了鞏固本節課的重點,還有一項是開放性的作業,學生可以選做。
