中國三大電信運營商將擴大4G服務
China's top three telecom operators unveiled their plans last Tuesday to improve 4G services as part of the country's efforts to update its information infrastructure.
上週二,我國三大電信運營商公佈了提升4G服務的方案,以此作為我國致力於更新信息基礎設施的一部分。China Mobile, the largest mobile telecom provider in the country, aims to build at least 300,000 4G base stations nationwide, covering a population of 1.35 billion this year. The company plans to add 200 million 4G users, bringing the total to 500 million.
我國最大移動通信供應商中國移動計劃今年在全國新建至少30萬處4G基站,覆蓋人口13.5億。該公司還計劃新增4G用户2億户,使其4G用户總量達到5億户。China Unicom, another telecommunications heavyweight, will spend 75 billion yuan ($11.6 billion) to secure more 4G users. It also vows to lower service rates.
另一家電信運營巨頭中國聯通,則將投入750億元(摺合116億美元)用於吸引更多4G用户。此外,中國聯通還表示,將會降低服務資費。
Meanwhile, China Telecom, China's largest fixed-line service provider, is working to raise Internet connection speeds to at least 35 megabytes per second on average. One-third of China Telecom users will have access to rates between 50 and 100 megabytes.
同時,我國最大的固話服務供應商中國電信將努力把互聯網連接速度提升至平均每秒至少35兆字節,其50-100兆字節速率寬帶用户佔比將達1/3。China had an online population of 688 million at the end of 2015, about half of the country's total population, according to a report by the China Internet Network Information Center.
根據中國互聯網絡信息中心的報告顯示,截止2015年底,我國共有6億8800萬網民,這一數字幾乎是國家總人口的一半。Another report released by the China Center for Information Industry Development showed that China has the world's largest population of mobile Internet users.
中國電子信息產業發展研究院發佈的另外一項報告顯示,中國擁有世界上最大的移動互聯網用户羣體。
