學校應該開展性教育嗎？Should Sex Education Be Taught At School?

Most peoplein China think it’s an embarrassing to talk about sex, they think it asensitive topic. That’s the reason why schools don’t impart this king ofknowledge to students. However, in my humble opinion, the sex education can notbe waited.

大多數中國人提到“性”這個話題時很尷尬，人們認爲“性”很敏感。這就是學校不願意給學生教授性知識的原因。然而，在我看來，性教育不能再等待。

Why doyouth need sex education? Most teenagers get the HIV virus or sexuallytransmitted diseases because of having sex with an infected person. They canavoid any risk of HIV or STD if they have learned how to protect themselves. Onthe other hands, teenagers’pregnancy rate in China is astonishingly high. According to thesurvey, more than a million teenagers become accidentally pregnant each ，this situation becomes serious.

爲什麼年輕人需要性教育呢？大多數青少年感染艾滋病或性病是因爲與攜帶者發生關係。如果他們知道該如何保護自己，就能夠完全避免這些情況。另一方面，在中國，青少年的懷孕率高得驚人。通過調查顯示，每年有超過100萬名青少女意外懷孕。現如今，這種情況更加嚴重。

In myopinion, sex education is absolutely essential. The schools have theresponsibility to teach students to have the right attitude towards the genderissue. Taking about sex is not a shame. It is not embarrassment. The questionis no longer whether sex education should be taught, but rather how it shouldbe taught.

在我看來，性教育非常有必要。學校有責任教授學生對性問題的正確的態度。談論“性”並不可恥，也不尷尬。但現問題已不是該不該教授性知識，而是該如何教。
