點滴英語天天學第52期:肯求婚了!(短語歸納)

首先，我們來複習一下我們前些日子學習到了生動、有趣而新鮮的new phrases：to get hitched，to pop the question，to rob the cradle，sugar daddy，to be crazy about each other，to make out，to get a room，to go together，to be shacked up，to knock someone up。
我們都知道以上的phrases都是有vocabularies構成，下面對話中的每句話是由phrases構成，而對話又是由sentences構成。由此可見phrases的重要性。今天，我們更細緻的歸納和總結對話中的phrases。首先，我們來聽Robert和Jenny老師來朗讀下面的Dialogue：
Jane: You are not going to believe this. Debbie and Ken are getting hitched next month! He finally popped the question last night.
Nancy: You've got to be kidding. Ken is so much older than she is. He's robbing the cradle. Well, Debbie has always wanted a sugar daddy and now she's going to have one. I have to admit, they do seem crazy about each other. I mean, they'er always making out in public.
Jane: I know. I hate that. Get a room!
Nancy: Well, they have been going together for three years and have been shacked up for one year. I guess they wanted to make it official.
Nancy: Either that or Ken knocked her up and now they want to get married before their parents find out. But you didn't hear it from me!
接着，我們來學習下面的短語：
1. have got to
解析：have got to的意思是“必須，不得不”。
例句：We have got to review these ancient articles we have learnt.（我們要把學過的文言文內容複習好。）
2. so much
解析：so much的意思是“這麼，非常”。它做定語，修飾不可數名詞。它也可以做名詞用 。
例句：He had truly never seen so much spirit in the girl before.（在以前，他真的沒有看見過這個姑娘這麼興高采烈。）
So much for the explanation of the text. Now let's retell it.（課文就解釋到這裏，現在讓我們複述課文。）
3. in public
解析：in public是副詞性短語，意思是“公開地，公衆地”。例如：
例句：He is backward in giving his views in public.（他怯於在公衆場所發表意見。）
4. either ...
解析：主要用於表示選擇，其意爲“要麼……要麼……”“或者……或者……”，用於連接兩個性質相同的詞或短語。
例句：You must either go at once or wait till tomorrow. （你要麼馬上走，要麼等到明天。）
We can finish the work either this week or next week. （不是這星期就是下星期我們就可完成這項工作。）
You can have either this one or that one. （你拿這個或那個都可以。）
5. find out
解析：find out的意思是“發現”“查明”。
例句：I shall make it my business to find out who is responsible.（我要查出是誰的責任。）
Kyle cheated on the test and hoped the teacher wouldn't find out.（凱爾考試作弊，還希望教師沒有發現。）
6. hear something from someone
解析：hear something from somebody的意思是“從某人嘴裏得知某事”，注意介詞用from。
例句：I hear the bad news from my patients.（我是從我的病人那兒聽到這個壞消息的。）
7. get married
解析：get married的意思是“結婚”，表示從未婚到結婚，所以用get。Married是動詞marry的過去分詞，做形容詞用。
例句：I' ll never get married because it' s like signing your life away !（我可不結婚，因爲結婚就像簽了賣身契一樣!）
She didn't get married until she was well into middle age.（她步入中年後才結婚。）
