2017下半年筆譯二級真題解析（漢譯英第一篇）

人類在漫長髮展進程中創造了豐富多彩的世界文明，中華文明是世界文明多樣性的重要組成部分。

本句屬於一個比較標準的貼句譯法，即不調整句式，也不用將其中一個句子變爲從句，很多考生會把第二個句子變爲which從句，自以爲得計，實際上這兩個句子重要性是一樣的，甚至後面的內容更加重要一些。而且此句中也不能亂用求雅替換去處理三個文明，這是政論文體正式而莊重的特徵決定的。

前半句應當注意時態爲完成時，這個時態如果能譯出來，會給閱卷老師留下很好的印象。

本句主要考的是學生的選詞能力和語感，“傑出代表”、“作鬥爭”、“形成和豐富”、“發展和昌盛”，“不僅……而且”等處，都對考生產生了影響，一不注意，就會出現中式的搭配，影響到最終成績。

代表一詞，譯文選用了“representative feature”將一個潛在的問題解決得非常漂亮，因爲representative這個字本身做名詞時會存在邏輯問題。

“生產生活實踐”在譯文中被簡化了，實現上就是“每天的工作與生活”,practice一詞顯得過分抽象，不符合原文的風格。

鬥爭不能譯爲struggle,因爲帶有掙扎、頑抗的貶義。

豐富一詞轉意爲發展，這種處理很值得玩味，也就是說，譯者更應該注意譯文中詞的搭配價值。

“發展和昌盛”選取了the nation's advancement and the country's prosperity，避免了詞彙間的重複。

不僅而且的處理也顯得很靈活，從這些詞的轉義和改變來看，這種在理解原文基礎上的小小調整，正是深受閱卷老師推崇的做法，也就是所謂的“神似”

中醫藥在歷史發展進程中，形成了獨特的生命觀、健康觀、疾病觀、防治觀，實現了自然科學與人文科學的融合，蘊含了中華民族深邃的哲學思想。隨着人們健康觀念變化和醫學模式轉變，中醫藥越來越顯示出獨特價值。

這一段落同樣是順譯，但重點由選詞轉向了搭配和斷句。

“生命觀、健康觀、疾病觀、防治觀”對於這種臨時形成的詞不用緊張，直譯爲“對於生命、健康、疾病以防治的觀點即可”

“實現了……的融合”/“蘊含……的思想”譯文中將這一搭配轉成了“代表了”，“覆蓋了”這都屬於譯文中對於搭配的自然調整，值得學生認真學習。

第一句一共有三個逗號，譯文斷成了兩句，爲得是讓句子不至於因爲動詞太多而過分沉重

這一句體現了翻譯工作中增譯所能達到的效果。

“相互促進”如果按字面譯爲promote each other,並沒有什麼錯誤，但和原文結合得不緊，這裏轉爲“共同使用，讓國人……”就顯得既貼切，又不違背原文。

“維護健康”正說反譯爲“保護人們不得病”，這種處理就比較靈活。

本句參考譯文：

TCM and Western medicine have their different strengths. They work together in China to protect people from diseases and improve public health. This has turned out to be one of the important features and notable strengths of Chinese public health system.
