初中英語常考的易混詞組
在初中階段，英語單詞的積累是很重要的。但是記單詞又是一件很枯燥的事情。記單詞最頭疼的就是碰到形近詞了，當時以爲記住了，區分開了，沒過多久再次見到它們時，又傻傻分不清楚了。今天總結這些易混詞組，希望對大家的單詞記憶有幫助。
1. a number of，the number of
a number of 許多，謂語動詞用複數;
the number of …的數目，謂語動詞用單數。
The number of students is increasing.學生的數量在增長。
2. in front of，in the front of
in front of 範圍外的前面;
in the front of 範圍內的前面。
In the front of the room sits a boy.
在這個房間前面坐着一個男孩。
3. three of us，the three of us
three of us 我們(不止三個)中的三個;
the three of us 我們三個(就三個人)。
The three of us——Tom, Jack and I went to the cinema yesterday.

4. by bus on the bus
by bus 乘公交車，表手段，方式，不用冠詞;
on the bus 在公交車上，表範圍。

for a moment 片刻，一會兒;
for the moment 暫時，一時。

in place of 代替;
in the place of 在…...地方。

in secret 祕密地，暗自地，偷偷地，一般用作狀語;
in the secret 知道內情，知道祕密，一般用作表語。
