巴基斯坦一法庭演示雷管 結果當場爆炸

A device being presented as evidence at a trial in a Pakistani court blew up after the judge asked a police officer to show how it worked.

在巴基斯坦法庭一案件審判過程當中，法官命庭警展示應該如何使用一呈堂證物，但是隨即該裝置卻突然爆炸了。

At least two people were injured, including the policeman, in the blast at an anti-terrorism court in the city of Karachi.

這起爆炸發生在卡拉奇市的一處反恐怖主義法庭內，目前已經至少造成包括當事庭警在內的2名人員受傷。

Some reports say the device was a grenade taken from the defendant. Police later said it was just a detonator with an explosive element that should have been defused.

有報道指出，那份爆炸的證物是從被告那裏收繳而來的手榴彈。不過隨後警方表示，該證物不過是一枚本應已被拆除爆炸物質的雷管。

The incident took place on Monday at the trial of a man accused of extortion and of carrying out a number of grenade attacks.

事故在週一發生的時候，法庭正在審理一起案件，控告一名男子涉嫌敲詐勒索及數起炸彈襲擊。

The device presented in court was at the request of the defence. Judge Shakil Haider then asked how it worked. A part of the device was pulled from it and it exploded, throwing the judge off his chair.

應辯護方要求，法院當庭出示收繳證物。法官沙基勒·海爾德隨後詢問庭警該證物應如何使用。庭警把證物的一部分拔了出來，隨後就發生了爆炸。而該法官則受到了嚴重驚嚇。

Senior police official Jamil Ahmed said that explosives around the detonator had been made harmless, but added: "We are investigating as to how the detonator was brought to the court without being defused."

高級警官賈米·艾哈邁德表示，雷管事先已經做了無害化處理。但他又補充說道：“我們正在調查爲什麼雷管沒有被拆除就帶進了法庭。”
