Jiang Qin, a 38-year-old Beijing office worker, said she was going away but not too far. She aimed to take her 2-year-old daughter to the nearby city of Tianjin, having scrapped a plan to go to Hainan because of Beijing’s quarantine requirements.

However, industry executives warn that it's too soon to say how robust the recovery in holiday travel will be given concern about a second wave of the coronavirus.

International travel remains out of the question for most, due to border restrictions imposed by other countries, a lack of flights and two weeks of quarantine that await people coming back to China.

故宮博物院
故宮博物院4月29日晚發佈恢復開放公告，自5月1日起有序開放，實行預約、錯峯、限流參觀。公告發布同時，門票預約系統開放預約。
故宮目前每日限流5000人(8:30-13:00,3000人；13:00-16:00,2000人)，僅爲疫情前每天8萬人限流量的1/16。目前旺季票價60元。截至4月30日早上，故宮博物院“五一”假期的門票已被預約一空。“五一”想去故宮的遊客，還可關注是否有退票。
中國國家博物館
結合當前常態化疫情防控工作要求，疫情防控期間，國博暫時取消了夜間場次。
此外，兩座博物館均明確提出，請觀衆按預約時間有序參觀，非預約時間段將拒絕入內。同時出示有效身份證原件，提前準備好本人實時“健康碼”（通過“北京健康寶”小程序申領），接受健康監測，顯示“未見異常”方可入院。
黃山風景區
假期期間，黃山風景區開放時間由目前的6:00提前至5:00，並嚴格執行景區日接待量不超過覈定最大承載量30%即15000人的限流規定，並加強景區內重點區域的流量管控。景區南大門、北大門日接待遊客限量分別爲13500人、1500人。
遊客需注意的是，自4月29日起，景區門票實行至少提前一天線上實名預約管理，即當日(0時-24時)不能預約當日門票；未預約遊客不得進入景區，景區不提供現場購票服務；享受免票政策的遊客亦須完成提前預約流程。
雲臺山景區
“五一”假日期間，景區實行網上實名制預約購票，遊客可通過“雲臺山景區”官方微信公衆號、美團、攜程等電商平臺訂票。在客流量方面，景區最大承載量爲8.1萬人，“五一”假期日接待遊客量限定2.4萬人，即景區最大承載量的30%。
蘇州園林
景區開放時間：已恢復至正常開放時間，在蘇州夜間經濟發展第一季（4月25日至6月25日）期間，虎丘、拙政園、耦園、怡園四個園林景區對外開放時間，從原7：30至17：30，延長爲7：30至19：00。
所有遊客入園一律實行網上實名制預約或購票（含掃碼購票）（購票成功即預約成功），遊客憑身份證等有效證件可提前7天預約或購票。入園需要覈驗有效證件，體溫檢測無異常，正確佩戴口罩，“蘇城碼”檢測爲綠色，符合條件者方可入園。
