Sue: Hi, Rose. Have you finished teaching 1) for the day?
蘇： 嗨，柔絲。今天的鋼琴課都教完了嗎？
Rose: Yes. I'm going home and 2) getting on the Net.

Sue: Really? You use the Internet?

【finish的用法】
finish這個字是表示“結束，完成”的意思，後面可以直接接受詞，比如說是工作或是家庭作業等。
A: Have you finished that assignment yet?
指派給你的那項工作完成了沒？
B: quite.
呃……不完全。
另外，需要特別注意的是如果finish後面接動詞的話，則動詞需爲動名詞形態。
A: I knew if I kept at it, I'd eventually finish writing my book.
我知道如果我持續下去，最後一定可以寫完這本書。
