雅思聽力中的條件詞可不要忽視
雅思聽力考中有些常見的連接詞，很多備考同學認爲這些是常規詞彙不表達具體語義所以可能會被忽略，這類詞往往意味着轉折，反義等意義，而這些意義則會是聽力過程中大的變數。這些“條件詞”我們該怎樣把應對?來看看下面的內容吧!
例一：只有二三年生才能使用MAC電腦嗎?
The third computer network that is the Macintosh computer network is reserved for the second and third year students to use only, unless you are the first year students of the Graphic Design course, who require higher quality of the output of your work. 不是,因爲後面有個unless部分。
例二：是否任何事情都可以聯繫你?
Q: May I put you into our mailing list?
A: Well, I’d prefer not, except for the information about the promotion you mentioned just now. 只有一個條件可以,就是except for後面的情況(別的概不接受)。
例三：你覺得多長時間播一次廣告可以接受呢?
Q: How long will it be tolerate to have adverts?
A: Well, I’d say every quarter of an hour, as long as they don‘t last for 10 minutes each time.
答案對不是10分鐘,我的課上這個題是重點題也是難題!很多考生會選錯,純粹是因爲考生只聽到10分鐘這個點太清楚了,別的都很模糊,而且as long as 的條件詞特別“提醒了”考生後面的錯誤選項。
例四：熱帶雨林危險嗎?
There’s no need to be nervous of the rainforest, provided that you treat it with respect and common sense. Most of the animals and wildlife are gentle and harmless.
不要擔心進入熱帶雨林會遇到危險,只要你善待自然,就可以和平共處……
對於雅思聽力中的各種條件詞，需要在平常的雅思學習中就對這類詞彙施以大地關注，並且要求廣大雅思考生不要想當然，在沒有聽完主體之前，先對聽的內容產生了先見爲主的印象。只有集中全部的注意力，並且有重點的聽，才能在雅思聽力的過程中避免失誤。
