Luxury cars and private jets are no longer topping the "to-buy" lists of Chinese billionaires.

豪車和私人飛機已經不再是中國億萬富翁的購物首選，現在土豪們的野心更大了：去斐濟、圖瓦盧和大溪地當"島主"。

Instead, it appears that some are about to set off for the South Pacific later this month in search of something altogether bigger: Their very own island in Fiji, Tuvalu or Tahiti.

本月，部分富豪將組團前往南太平洋實地考察，求購屬於自己的私人島嶼。

It is the first time such a group has been put together with the sole aim of securing the members' own South Pacific plot of land, according to Lin Dong, the founder of the China Island Owners Association. Lin explained islands in Fiji are the cheapest, with plenty of choice but very few inhabitants.

聯盟的發起人林東表示，富豪們以團體形式去南太平洋購島尚屬首次，並解釋說，斐濟的島最便宜，因爲那邊"島多人少"。

The islands are generally being offered under 99-year leases (no outright ownership is offered) priced at RMB3m.

斐濟島嶼不出售完全產權，只出租99年的使用權，售價300萬元人民幣。
