日本一酒館用獼猴當服務員 香蕉當'工資'!

The Kayabukiya Tavern looks like any other traditional-style Japanese 'sake-house' restaurant.

這家名爲“Kayabukiya”的酒館和其他傳統風格的日本清酒屋餐館看起來差不多。

However, once you walk into the modest premises in Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture it quickly becomes apparent that human waiters have been replaced by Macaque monkeys.

不過，當你走進這家位於日本栃木縣宇都宮市的普通酒館內，你會馬上發現，原來這裏的服務員已經被獼猴取代了。

These macaque monkeys dressed in a chequered shirt and skirt, can bringing guests a beer and fetching napkins for diners.

這些獼猴們身穿格子襯衫和裙子，會給顧客送啤酒、取餐巾紙。

If they do a good job their owner feeds them bananas as payment.

如果它們工作表現出色，老闆會給它們喂香蕉作爲報酬。

And the owner said he sorted the monkeys after seeing them in their natural habitat of the Nikko mountains and they were so cute.

酒館老闆表示，他在日光山的自然棲息地裏看到並挑選出了這些猴子，它們太可愛了。

It is reported that macaque monkeys have been working at the bar for some 29 years.

據報道，這些獼猴已經在這個酒館工作約29年了。
