北京市有關部門9日下午對外公佈，爲保障APEC會議進行，經國務院批准，在京中央和國家機關、事業單位和社會團體以及北京市機關（government agencies）、事業單位（state - run institutions）和社會團體（social groups, social organizations），於11月7日至12日調休放假（take days off, take working days off），共6天。
按照調休放假方案，將於7日(週五)、10日(週一)放假，11日(週二)、12日(週三)調休，2日(週日)、15日(週六)上班。北京行政區域內的企業和其他社會組織，可根據實際情況自行安排。
