hate用作動詞，意爲“討厭;恨”，其反義詞是動詞love.常用搭配有hate sb./sth., “討厭、憎恨某人或某物”;hate doing sth.指習慣上“討厭做某事”;hate to do sth.,指“討厭”某一次具體的行爲。如：
Some girls hate swimming in spring.一些女孩討厭在春天游泳。
