testify: 出庭作證。
raise one’s hair: 某事極其可怕，令人毛骨悚然。
boo: 噓，表示不滿、輕蔑或嚇唬別人時發出的聲音。
sneak up on: 偷偷靠近某人。
scare the life out of sb.: 嚇得靈魂出竅。形容極度害怕或者震驚。

squeeze off: 扣扳機射擊。
henpecked: 妻管嚴的，懼內的。
wimp: 懦弱的人;無能的人。
uptight: 緊張的，神經質的。
