1. 地道表達
【地道短語】up a tree
【解詞釋義】up a tree源於up a gum-tree，字面意思是“在橡膠樹上”，用來比喻“無論如何都不能逃脫”，意即：一籌莫展，走投無路，陷入困境，進退維谷等等意思。
【支持範例1】With the failure of the experiment, we are up a tree now.
試驗失敗了，我們一籌莫展。
