八年級下冊英語第十單元知識點4語法難點
現在完成時常與“for+時間段”或“since+時間點”連用。
1. for 作介詞，後接時間段，表示“某個動作持續了多久。
Eg：I’ve been here for just over two years. 我來到這兒剛好兩年多了。
2. since 可作介詞，後接時間點，也可用作連詞，後接從句，表示某個動作或情況從過去某一時間點一直持續到現在，從句用一般過去時。
Eg：He’s been here since two years ago. 他兩年來一直住在這兒。
注意：for 和since引導的時間狀語不能與終止性動詞的肯定式連用，但可和其否定式連用。
Eg：Mr Smith hasn’t come to China for three years. 史密斯先生三年沒來中國了。
I haven’t seen him since I came back. 自從我回來就沒見過他。

1. check out意爲”價差;審查”，爲動副結構，是及物動詞短語。
You’d better check out your engine. 你最好檢查一下你的發動機。
拓展：check out 還可爲不及物動詞短語，意爲“結賬離開”。
Eg：他十分鐘前付清費用離開了。
注意：check out 也有“檢查，覈對”之意，但是強調查明真相，覈對事實。在美式英語中常用check upon。
2. So we’ve been clearing out a lot of things from our bedrooms for a yard sale.
這是一個現在完成進行時的句子。現在完成進行時通常要和時間段連用，表示在某段時間內，某動作一直在進行，結構爲“have/has been+v-ing +時間段”。
Eg：The workers have been working for three hours. 這些工人已經工作3個小時了。
注意：如果對時間段提問，疑問短語用how long。如對上面例句中的for短語進行提問：
How long have the workers been working? 這些工人工作多長時間了?
clear out 意爲“清理，收拾乾淨，清除掉”。
Eg: I decided to clear out all the old shoes that we never wear. 我已經決定把我們從來不穿的舊鞋統統加以清除。
思考：你知道clear out與clean out 的用法區別嗎?
clear out與clean out這兩個短語都有“使......乾淨”的意思，但實際意思是不同的，前者意爲“使......被清除掉，使.....空出來”。而clean out則是“使......清潔”之意。
Eg：I’ll clear out that closet and then you can hang your clothes in there. 我會把衣櫥騰出來，你就可以放衣服了。
Be sure to clean out the kitchen when you finish cooking. 做晚飯時，一定要把廚房收拾乾淨。
3. part with 意爲 “捨棄，放棄(對......的佔有);賣掉(東西)”。
Eg：He was very sorry to part with his favorite horses. 他賣掉他最喜歡的幾匹馬，心裏很難過。
思考：你知道part from與part with的用法區別嗎?
part from 的意思是“分開，離開”，多用於人;part with=give up，是“賣掉，放棄，斷絕關係，跟......分開”的意思，主要用於物，間或也可用於人。part from 作“分手，分開”講時，是瞬間動詞，不能表示“持久”的意思，from後接表示人的名詞活代詞。
Eg：I often part from my parents after breakfast. 我常在早飯後與父母分手。
Tom has parted with Jane. 湯姆已和詹妮分手。
4. as for 是一個固定短語，意爲“至於......;關於......”往往用於說話時提及的另一個人或事，活實物的另一個方面，其後可跟名詞、代詞或動名詞作賓語。
Eg：As for that computer. I’m not telling you anything. 至於說哪臺電腦，我什麼都不會告訴你。
5. to be honest意爲“老實說;說實在的”，相當於to tell you the truth或honestly speaking, 常在句中作插入語。
Eg：To be honest, I have little money. 老實說，我幾乎沒有錢。
6. do with意爲“處理”，常與what連用，表示詢問。
Eg：What are you going to do with your old clothes? 你打算怎麼處理你的舊衣服?
拓展：deal with意爲“解決，應付，處理”，期中deal爲動詞，過去式爲dealt，with爲介詞，後面常接trouble，problem等詞。deal with多與how 連用，表示詢問。
Eg：How did you deal with your book?
7. the same as 意爲“和......一樣”短語中的as是介詞，用於比較，後接名詞、代詞或動名詞。
Eg：This basket is the same as that one. 這個鏈子和那個一樣。
8. How often do you think these people visit their hometowns?
do you think 爲插入語，只是對一句話作一些附加的解釋，與句子的其他成分並無語法上的關係。若去掉do you think，句子任然完整，語序不變。
Eg：Which of these do yu think the best? 你認爲這些之中哪一個是最好的?
9. “I noticed that’s true of my hometown,” adds Zhong Wei.
add爲及物動詞，在本句中意爲“補充說，又說”
Eg：She added that having conversations with friends was not helpful at all. 她又說，和朋友們進行交流毫無幫助。
10. so far =up to/until now，意爲“迄今爲止;到目前爲止”，該短語常用語句首或句末，在句中作狀語，句子常用現在完成時，也可以用一般時，表示範圍、程度或距離。
Eg：It rains every day so far this month. 直到現在這個月每天都在下雨。
