Helen and Neil are in the studio when Helen's phone rings. But when she picks up there's no sound. What's gone wrong? Find out and learn a useful phrase in the programme.

Neil: Hello everyone. I'm Neil. It's great to be here today, Helen.
尼爾：大家好。我是尼爾。海倫，今天來做節目太好了。Helen: You are very cheerful today.
海倫：你今天很高興啊。Neil: I feel pretty good, I walked from the train station to the office and it seems to have really energised me.
尼爾：我現在感覺非常好，我今天是從火車站走到辦公室的，看來這確實讓我精力充沛。(phone rings)
（電話響了）Helen: That's my phone. Hello, hello? Anyone there? Hello?
海倫：是我的電話。你好，你好？請問找誰？你好？Neil: Oh, it looks like you may be out of juice.
尼爾：哦，看起來你的手機沒電了。Helen: What? I am not drinking any juice, but my phone has just gone dead.
海倫：什麼？我並沒有喝果汁，我的手機剛纔關機了。Neil: That's what I mean. Your phone isn't working because it's out of juice.
尼爾：我就是這個意思。你的手機不再運作是因爲它沒電了。Helen: Please explain: what's juice got to do with my phone?
海倫：請你解釋一下果汁和我的手機有什麼關係？Neil: When you've used all the battery power of something like a mobile phone, so that it doesn't work anymore, we can say it's 'out of juice'. It's a slang expression. Have a listen to these examples:
尼爾：像手機這種用蓄電池的設備，如果不再運作，我們就可以說它“沒電了”。這是一個俚語。請聽下面的例句：Examples
例句My laptop's out of juice. This is so frustrating.
我的筆記本電腦沒電了。這太令人沮喪了。I am packing three spare phone batteries so I don't run out of juice on my climbing trip.
我裝了三塊備用的手機電池，這樣我的手機就不會在登山旅行中沒電了。Helen: I see. Can we use it for anything else apart from batteries?
海倫：我明白了。除了電池之外，還能用在其它地方嗎？Neil: Sure, sometimes if a person feels low on energy, they could say 'I'm out of juice'. Also if your car is low on petrol, you could say 'The car's running out of juice.'
尼爾：可以，如果一個人感覺無精打采，那就可以說“我沒精神”。如果你的汽車快沒油了，你也可以說“車快沒油了。”Helen: Thanks for explaining this phrase. Now I'm feeling quite thirsty — a glass of juice would be most welcome.
海倫：謝謝你解釋這個短語。現在我非常渴，我想來一杯果汁。Neil: Let's go and get some then. Meanwhile, charge your phone, so it's got plenty of juice.
