職場英語日記 第39期:無三不成禮
This has been such a great day so far. First, we had a staff meeting this morning and I got some very positive feedback on the project I finished last week. What a relief! Everyone congratulated me on doing such a good job. It feels so good to be valued and acknowleded.
到目前爲止，還沒有像今天這樣那麼讓人開心。首先呢，我們今早開了員工會議，我上個星期完成的項目得到一些相當正面的回饋意見，讓我鬆了一口氣!大家都來恭喜我做得好。被人重視和肯定的感覺真好。
After the meeting I went to lunch with my colleagues and it turned into a party! We were there for most of the afternoon and then we were allowed to go home early to start the weekend. It really makes all that work and stress last week feel worthwhile.
開完會後，我和同事本來只是要去吃午餐，結果竟變成開派對!我們在那裏待了差不多整個下午，公司還准許我們早點回家提前過週末。沒想到會變這樣，上星期所有的辛苦和壓力都值得了。Then my dad called me and asked me if I would like to go sailing with him next weekend. I haven't seen my dad in a long time because he lives about an hour away from me and he travels a lot.
後來我老爸又打電話來問我下個週末要不要和他去航海。老爸住的地方離我1小時，他又經常旅行，所以我好久沒看到他了。
A weekend onhis sailboat with just the two of us will be a great way to catch up. I am so excited!
週末就我和他兩個人一起坐他的帆船出海，這個主意太棒了。我好興奮哦!
