製造業連續八個月擴張

China's economy recovered steadily in October as the latest data showed the continuous expansion of the manufacturing and services sectors.

10月最新統計數據顯示，我國經濟穩步恢復，製造業和服務業持續擴張。

The country's factory activities stayed in expansionary territory for eight consecutive months, as the purchasing managers index for the manufacturing sector stood at 51.4 in October.

國家統計局數據顯示，10月份，我國製造業採購經理指數(PMI)爲51.4%，已連續8個月處於擴張區間。

PMI for the nonmanufacturing sector came in at 56.2, compared with 55.9 in the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

非製造業PMI爲56.2%，比上月上升0.3個百分點。

While the manufacturing PMI was slightly down from 51.5 in September, it was above the market expectations of 51.3.

雖然10月製造業PMI較9月的51.5%略有下降，但高於市場51.3%的預期。

The services sector also accelerated the pace of recovery, with the subindex for business activities expanding 0.3 points from the previous month, to 55.5, NBS said.

國家統計局表示，服務業復甦勢頭也在加快，10月服務業商務活動指數爲55.5%，比上月上升0.3個百分點。
