職場英語日記 第22期:自律的一天

I hate Monday mornongs. It was impossible to get to sleep early Sunday night because I slep most of the day. Then, when it was time for bed, I wasn't even sleepy. I tossed and turned for hours and then I only got about 5 hours of restless sleep.

我討厭星期一早上。星期天白天都被我睡掉了,晚上根本不可能早睡,所以到了睡覺時間一點兒睡意也沒有。翻來覆去好幾個小時,真正睡覺的時間只有五小時,根本沒睡好。

If Icould get away with it, I would have called in sick today. But I have too much work to do and there are people counting on me. I am going force myself to go to the gym tonight evn hough I just want to go home, be lazy, watch TV, and then go to bed.

如果可以不用上班的話,實在很想打電話去請病假;不過今天有很多工作要做,不去上班會影響到別人。雖然今晚我很想回家偷懶看電視再直接上牀睡覺,可是我得強迫自己上健身房。

It is just too easy to get out of the habit of going to the gym and I have just started back at it. I have been so good lately. I made myself come to work and I can make myself get some exercise, too. Now is the time for self-discipline!

上健身房的習慣好不容易養成,一個不小心就會怠惰,得趕快重新繼續才行。最近情況很不錯,既然能強迫自己上班,相信也能強迫自己運動。該是發揮自律精神的時候了!
