Ruth: Hey Akane, didn't we have a really good time in the city in Oita last weekend?

魯斯：嗨，茜，上週末我們在大分市度過了美好的時光，對吧？

Akane: Yeah we had a great time. I'm glad we went.

茜：是啊，我們度過了愉快的時光。我很高興我們去了那裏。

Ruth: Oh me too. It was so good! You know, I thought it was really good to get out of this small town. It was really good to go somewhere bigger.

魯斯：我也是。那真是太棒了！你知道，我認爲離開這個小城鎮去更大的地方很棒。

Akane: Definitely. I really like big cities.

茜：當然了。我非常喜歡大城市。

Ruth: And wasn't it good that we managed to get some shopping done?

魯斯：而且我們還去購物了，這是不是也很棒？

Akane: Definitely. I think we got a little carried away though.

茜：當然是了。不過我覺得我們有點忘乎所以了。

Ruth: Possibly yeah, possibly. What did you buy again?

魯斯：可能吧，可能吧。你買了什麼來着？

Akane: I bought a new skirt and I'm wearing it right now.

茜：我買了一條新短裙，就是我現在穿的這條。

Ruth: Oh of course, yeah. Oh it looks really nice.

魯斯：哦，對，看上去真不錯。

Akane: Do you like it?

茜：你喜歡嗎？

Ruth: Yeah, yeah. Is this the first time you've worn it?

魯斯：喜歡，喜歡。這是你第一次穿嗎？

Akane: It is actually.

茜：實際上是的。

Ruth: And did you buy anything else?

魯斯：你還買其他東西了嗎？

Akane: Erm I think I bought a new CD.

茜：嗯，我還買了張CD。

Ruth: That's right you did. Yes and we also bought a few things from the 100 yen shop didn't we?

魯斯：沒錯，你買了張CD。我們都從100日元店買了東西，對吧？

Akane: We did.

茜：對。

Ruth: Yeah it was a good day.

魯斯：那真是令人滿意的一天。

Akane: Did you really like the 100 yen shop?

茜：你喜歡那家100日元店嗎？

Ruth: It was fantastic! You know that's the biggest 100 yen shop that I've ever been to!

魯斯：那太不可思議了！你知道那是我去過的最大的一家100日元店！

Akane: Me too. Five floors! Can you believe it?

茜：我也是。有五層樓！你能相信嗎？

Ruth: I know, it's fantastic! I seem to remember we were in there for about 2 hours, were we?

魯斯：是啊，太棒了！我記得我們在那裏逛了兩個小時，對吧？

Akane: 2 hours. I think you're right.

茜：兩個小時。你說得對。

Ruth: I think we were in there for quite a long time.

魯斯：我覺得我們在那裏逛了很長時間。

Akane: We were. We were really enjoying ourselves in there.

茜：是的。我們在那裏真的過得很愉快。

Ruth: But it was worthwhile.

魯斯：不過很值得。

Akane: Definitely. What did you buy?

茜：絕對值得。你買什麼了？

Ruth: Oh that's a good question. Yeah I think I bought a t-shirt didn't ?

魯斯：哦，這問題不錯。我買了一件T恤。

Akane: Yeah I think you did.

茜：對，沒錯。

Ruth: Yeah it was really nice. I bought a t-shirt and I bought a dictionary.

魯斯：那很不錯。我買了一件T恤和一本詞典。

Akane: Oh that's right, your dictionary! Have you used it yet?

茜：沒錯，你的詞典！你用過了嗎？

Ruth: Erm I've used it a couple of times but maybe not as much as I should have.

魯斯：我已經用過幾次了，不過也許我應該更多地使用那本詞典。

Akane: Well hopefully it will help you to study Japanese.

茜：希望它能對你的日語學習有幫助。

Ruth: Oh I'm hoping so.

魯斯：我也希望如此。

Akane: It was quite a big dictionary.

茜：那真是一本大詞典。

Ruth: Yeah, yeah it was expensive so…

魯斯：是啊，而且也很貴……

Akane: How much was it again?

茜：詞典多少錢？

Ruth: It was three and a half thousand yen, three thousand five hundred.

魯斯：3500日元，3500日元。

Akane: So that's about35 dollars.

茜：大約35美元。

Ruth: Yeah, 35 dollars. That's a lot for me.

魯斯：對，35美元。對我來說太貴了。

Akane: It is for me too.

茜：對我來說也是。

Ruth: Really?

魯斯：是嗎？

Akane: But books are important.

茜：不過書很重要。

Ruth: Absolutely. Don't you think we should go back to Oita sometime?

魯斯：完全正確。你不認爲我們應該偶爾去趟大分市嗎？

Akane: Definitely. When do you want to go next?

茜：當然了。下次你想什麼時候去？

Ruth: Why don't we go next weekend?

魯斯：下週末怎麼樣？

Akane: That's a great idea and we can do some more shopping.

茜：真是個好主意，我們可以買更多的東西。

Ruth: Brilliant! Ok, let's do that next weekend

魯斯：太好了！好，我們就定下週末去。

Akane: Ok.

茜：好的。
