The couplets Ag Zn Na F Ga Hf Mg and Re Sg Tc Au As Sc Ti went viral on the internet recently. The letters not only represent chemical elements, but also are a pair of Spring Festival couplets posted outside a student's dormitory room at Nanjing Forestry University, reported.

最近，對聯“Ag Zn Na F Ga Hf Mg”“Re Sg Tc Au As Sc Ti”在網上走紅。據澎湃新聞報道，這不僅是兩組化學元素，還是一副春聯，這副對聯貼在南京林業大學的學生寢室外。

【講解】

Spring Festival couplet是春聯；chemical elements是化學元素。
該對聯用紅紙書寫，上聯爲Ag Zn Na F Ga Hf Mg（銀鋅鈉氟鎵鉿鎂，諧音“迎新納福家和美”，welcome a new year with blessings and a happy family），下聯爲Re Sg Tc Au As Sc Ti（錸釒喜鍀金砷鈧鈦，諧音爲“來喜得金身康泰”，good things like fortune will come and all keep healthy），橫批“悶聲發大財”（get rich quietly）。
南京林業大學（Nanjing Forestry University）家居與工業設計學院輔導員（counselor）李雍在路過學生寢室（dormitory room）時，發現一副用化學元素週期表裏的元素符號拼成的對聯（couplet）貼在門兩旁，感覺挺有趣。於是，隨手拍下傳到了（post）網上，並被大量轉發。
李雍認爲，“能夠把自己的專業運用到傳統對聯的創作（traditional couplets' creation）中，表現了一種傳統與現代（tradition and modernization），化學與人文（chemistry and humanity）的交融（integration），在這種融合中展現了當代大學生（contemporary college students）青春的活力與靈動（vigor and intelligence）。”
南京林業大學生物與環境學院（College of Biology and the Environment）環境工程專業（major in environmental engineering）大一學生（freshman）卞正是這副對聯的創作者之一。卞正高中時曾用化學元素符號“翻譯”過《蜀道難》（Hard is the Road to Shu）。“Md As Li N2H4 O Xe Sn”（捫參歷井仰脅息，Looking up breathless, I can touch the stars nearby）“Et Cho F Ag Azole Long Carbon”（以手撫膺坐長嘆，Beating my breast, I sink aground with a long, long sigh）。
