天賦異稟》S1E12追劇筆記：閒逛用英語該怎麼說？
今天，我看了《天賦異稟》第12集。
劇情主要講述了埃斯梅三姐妹再次介入特勤局和變種人基地之間的衝突，讓基地的同伴們，產生了意見的分歧。
裏德的母親被坎貝爾盯上了，在向老母親解釋一番後，總算讓老母親瞭解清楚奧托的所作所爲，老母親告訴了裏德一個重要的消息。

1、push back
短語：
push back有多種意思，“使撤退，使回到原處；把…推回原處；推遲”，在俚語中有吞下，嚥下的意思，在該劇中是反抗的意思。
例句：

2、live in squalor
短語：
live in squalor的意思是生活拮据，squalor有“悲慘、貧困;污穢、骯髒;道德敗壞”的意思.
當與live連用就可形容一種悲催，困苦的生活狀況。
例句：

3、tap into
短語：
tap into的意思是利用，開發。
例句：
Researchers will tap into the masses of data over the Web.
研究人員將對互聯網上的大部分數據進行挖掘。
4、poke around
短語：
poke around的意思是“閒逛”，poke around in my mind即在我的思想裏閒逛，引申爲窺探我的思想。
例句：
The man who owns this land said I could poke around here anytime.
這塊地的主人說我可以隨時到這兒來閒逛。
